Dr. Raven's CPR Practice Playlist w/ Hands-Only Tutorial

If you ever find yourself in a life-threatening emergency, CPR can be a real lifesaver – and it's an easy skill to learn! At the recommended rate of 100-120 compressions per minute, it can feel like a lot of work to keep up with. Don't worry - I GOT YOU! To help you practice performing CPR with the correct BPM, I've created a playlist that'll make it easier for you (and more fun)! Featuring upbeat tunes from all of my faves, this is the perfect excuse to get your groove on while learning such an important skill.

Believe it or not, it was actually pretty hard to make this playlist! I will be updating this playlist over time. This playlist has explicit lyrics, so this isn't necessarily a playlist for kids! Remember, I'm grown LOL. All songs are between 100 - 120 beats per minute, the same rate at which you should perform compressions when administering CPR.

CPR stands for cardiopulmonary resuscitation and involves chest compressions and rescue breathing. When administering chest compressions, aim for roughly 2 inches of pressure with each one and use the heel of your hand - not your fingertips! Counting aloud will also aid in keeping up with the ideal rhythm of 100-120 BPM. Pressing too hard may cause broken ribs or other injuries.
