planting seeds of

inspiration

A message from me:

It is with great pride and honor that I have received invitations from hundreds of groups around the world to share my uniting message for the STEM community and beyond.

Whether I am teaching best practices in science communication, sharing about my vision for an inclusive future in STEM through comedic storytelling, or an intimate fireside chat with students, I am grateful for each and every opportunity to engage with my audience and inspire the STEM community.

If you are on this page, this may mean that you are considering me to speak to your group or at your event. Thank you for your time in learning about me. I would be delighted to serve as your next keynote speaker, roundtable participant, or outreach guest.

On this page, you may find some examples of past engagements as well as testimonials from the audience members that I have had the pleasure of reaching with my message.

151st Commencement Speech

at Buffalo State Univeristy

As a two-time Buffalo State graduate (‘14, ‘17, Biology) it was a sincere pleasure and honor to return to my alma-mater and give the 151st commencement address. This was particularly special as I was invited by the same university president that served while I was a student. My goal was to share a message of hope and inspiration.

Audience Testimonials

As organizers of the Nebraska Women in STEM Conference, we had the honor of selecting Dr. Raven Baxter as our 2024 keynote speaker. Dr. Baxter shared her journey in science with authenticity and humor, and demonstrated what it looks like when you remain true to yourself even in the face of adversity.

Her story was relatable to our audience of women in STEM and she understood the challenges that these women can face throughout their career journeys. She inspired us to embrace our unique identities and encouraged us to explore our passions on our own terms, even with glitter and feathers!

We are so grateful for Dr. Baxter’s contribution to the conference. Her words were a powerful reminder that our authentic voice can inspire our paths, as well as inspire the next generation of women in STEM.

“Your story was extremely powerful and I was amazed and inspired. I’m sharing your presentation around with my other cast member friends as it was really uplifting at a time I think we need it the most at Disney. Thank you again for the powerful presentation and being your authentic self!”
